Thomas is moving very slowly this morning. Pain shows on his face with every move. He was not allowed any meds since last night. Only Tylenol.
Pat, Stacie and Thomas just left (9:30 a.m.) headed to Ft Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville, TN. Thomas will undergo an estimated five hours of surgery starting around noon. He was told yesterday that this surgery will not "fix" anything. It is an attempt to prevent paralysis. Based on the MRI done Wed. doctor knows he will not be able to remove all of the tumor. Thomas will receive radiation in an effort to kill what cancer is left.
Our prayers are that this will not be Melanoma, but some other kind of cancer. It's just that his history brings fears that it might be Melanoma.
Little Miss Julie is waking, so will be back with update just as soon as I hear from Pat this evening... probably around 5 or 6 p.m.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I will put Thomas in my prayers. I'm glad you are enjoying my photos at Fotki and Webshots.

The ETHRA family is praying for Thomas. This noon we met to join in prayer for him.
I felt led to read Psalm 18:1-19 as we began to lift Thomas up in prayer.
Blessings,
Deb
